This Limited Warranty is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It provides rights separate and in addition to any statutory rights provided to you by consumer law.
If your product is defective, you have the right to choose whether to claim under this Limited Warranty or under your consumer law rights. The terms of this Limited Warranty do not apply to claims under consumer law and nothing in this Limited Warranty will limit or affect your statutory rights provided to you by consumer law. For example, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your product your legal rights entitle you to various refund, repair and replacement remedies.
Limitation of Liability:
Life360 will be responsible for losses caused by our Products unless the loss is:
- Unexpected. It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable);
- Caused by a delaying event outside our control. As long as we have done everything we have said we'll do, we're not responsible for delays outside our control;
- Avoidable. Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action. For example, damage which was caused by a Life360 Product and which you could have avoided by following our care instructions; or
- A business loss. It relates to your use of a Product for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.
Supplemental Language applicable to Canada:
In Canada, goods forming the object of a contract must be fit for the purposes for which goods of that kind are ordinarily used. The law provides that the goods must be durable in normal use for a reasonable length of time. Our Products are provided with these warranties.
